Route 6 Nebraska Art Car Tour

August 14 - 20, 2005

The Route 6 Nebraksa tour was a great success, exploring the little towns of Nebraska along Historic Route 6.

Minds were blown, photos were taken, snits were thrown, parades were participated in, swimming was swum, eats were eaten, and lots of smiles happened along the way.

Two photo-crazy art car artists documented the trip, Dave Major of the Aerocar (Wichita KS) and Rex Rosenburg of the Bugwing (Great Bend KS). Here are their postings:

The official tour was organized through the Route 6 Nebraska group, to promote tourism along the route. They have a great synopsis of the tour posted on their site...
This was the second event featuring Art Cars (thefirstone was a jaunt to Hastings in 2004), and the first ever cross-state Art Car Tour in the art car world.
